BRAVO ANNOUNCES BUICK, EXTRA(R) DESSERT DELIGHTS(R) GUM AND KITCHENAID AS TOP SPONSORS FOR "TOP CHEF JUST DESSERTS"

New Series Premieres Wednesday, August 24 At 10 PM ET/PT

NEW YORK - August 23, 2011 - Bravo has stirred up sweet partnerships with Buick, Extra(R) Dessert Delights(R) Gum and KitchenAid as official sponsors for the second season of "Top Chef Just Desserts," the spin-off series of the Emmy and James Beard Award-winning show "Top Chef," airing Wednesday, August 24 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. These multi-platform deals provide an exclusive level of brand exposure through in-show product integration along with on-air and online presence for these partners. The announcement was made by Susan Malfa, Senior Vice President, Ad Sales, Bravo Media and Oxygen Media.

"Within Bravo and specifically the 'Top Chef' brand, we are constantly challenging ourselves to push the envelope and break new ground for our advertisers by providing unique and custom-fit multi-platform opportunities to raise consumer exposure and awareness for their brands," said Malfa. "With the highest number of top 20 product placements in cable for brand recall - we've got a proven track record of success."

Elements of the sponsorships and integrations surrounding "Top Chef Just Desserts" include:

Buick is an on-air series partner with weekly tagged tune-in spots and billboards across the series.

KitchenAid joins as the exclusive major and small appliance provider for season two of "Top Chef Just Desserts." KitchenAid will award the winning chef $100,000 and their products will be featured across the series.

Extra(R) Dessert Delights(R) gum returns as a full-series partner for season two and a sponsor of Bravo's Live Voting experience, which gives fans the opportunity to win weekly prizes of $100 or the grand prize - a private cooking class with the winner of "Top Chef Just Desserts," all by sharing their opinions on the show's dishes and drama, compliments of Extra(R) Dessert Delights(R) gum. In addition, Extra(R) Dessert Delights(R) gum will be featured in a branded Quickfire Challenge to kick off the launch of Extra gum's Fan FLAVORite Vote which gives fans the opportunity to help decide the next Extra(R) Dessert Delights(R) gum flavor. One of the three potential new flavors will be inspired by the winning dessert from Extra(R) gum's "Top Chef Just Desserts" Quickfire Challenge. In order to spread the word about Extra(R) gum's Fan FLAVORite Vote, Bravo is creating an on-air spot that drives fans online to vote. In addition to on-air, online, mobile and social media marketing, Extra(R) gum is producing in-store shippers in top retail locations to alert consumers of the campaign and the partnership with "Top Chef Just Desserts" and to encourage fans to vote on their mobile device. The votes will be tallied after the season has ended and an on-air spot within season nine of "Top Chef" will announce the winning flavor.

"Top Chef Just Desserts" features 14 chef'testants who will be whittled down week by week as they compete to out-bake their competition. Gail Simmons returns as the host of this highly competitive series showcasing the best of the best in the world of pastry arts. Once again joining the judges' panel as head judge is Johnny Iuzzini, one of the country's most celebrated and innovative pastry chefs and Executive Pastry Chef at Restaurant Jean Georges. Hubert Keller, critically acclaimed chef as well as guest judge on "Top Chef" and finalist on "Top Chef Masters," and Dannielle Kyrillos, entertaining expert and Contributing Editor of Food Republic will also serve as regular judges for the series.

The chefs must face off in some of the most difficult and creative challenges we've seen thus far - from fairytale showpieces and edible room dcor to high-class gingerbread houses and carnival delights - all while serving up these treats to some celebrity guest judges including: Beastie Boys' Adam "Ad Rock" Horovitz, The Cast of Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, Renowned Pastry Chef Francois Payard and Acclaimed Chef Cat Cora among others. The series offers a fascinating window into the competitive, pressure-filled environment of pastry chefs at the highest level. Each episode holds two challenges for the pastry chefs: the first, a quickfire test of their basic abilities and the elimination challenge designed to test the versatility and inventiveness of the pastry chefs. These chefs will prove that a little sugar and spice never tasted so nice.

"Top Chef Just Desserts" is produced by the Emmy Award-winning Magical Elves. Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz serve as executive producers.
