TV Land Kicks Off Scorching Summer Premieres On June 19
PLEASE NOTE: The air date and time of "TV Land Presents: The AFI Life Achievement Award Honoring Morgan Freeman" has changed.
The weather is heating up, and so is TV Land's summer schedule! This June, be sure to tune in to TV Land as the network's line-up sizzles with returning hits, star-studded specials, and a brand new original sitcom starring comedy icon Fran Drescher.
"HOT IN CLEVELAND" - RETURNING SERIES - Premiering Wednesday, June 15 at 10pm ET/PT - 2010's #1 cable sitcom returns with all-new episodes, picking up right where the show left off in March: Elka (Betty White) had just been convicted of being in possession of stolen goods and is now on the run, while Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli), Victoria (Wendie Malick) and Joy (Jane Leeves) are left wondering where she is. Now, the women must scramble to find Elka and get her back in time for her sentencing, and they find her in the last place anyone would expect... Amish country.
"HAPPILY DIVORCED" - NEW SERIES - Premiering Wednesday, June 15 at 10:30pm ET/PT - Co-written by Fran Drescher ("The Nanny") and ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson, "Happily Divorced" is inspired by Drescher's real life experience and follows Los Angeles florist Fran (Drescher), whose 18-year marriage ends suddenly when her husband (John Michael Higgins) announces he's gay. And if that weren't enough, he can't afford to move out. Now, Fran must navigate the dating world while her ex-husband lives under the same roof with the help her best friend Judi (Tichina Arnold), her parents Dori and Glen (Rita Moreno and Robert Walden) and her flower delivery employee Cesar (Valente Rodriguez).

This year, the 39th AFI Life Achievement award will be presented to actor Morgan Freeman whose unforgettable performances in films such as "Driving Miss Daisy," "Lean on Me," "Glory," "Unforgiven," "The Shawshank Redemption," "Amistad," "Million Dollar Baby" and "Invictus" brought life to characters that have become cinematic touchstones and imbued Mr. Freeman with iconic status both within and outside of the film community.
