CRIMINAL MINDS (CBS) - Sebastian Roche ("Supernatural") has booked a second recurring gig, this time on the veteran CBS drama. He'll play a character who works closely with Paget Brewster's Emily Prentiss however no other details were given.

THE KENNEDYS (History) - A&E Television Networks has pulled the plug on the much-ballyhooed mini-series, which had been set to air this spring on the cable channel. "Upon completion of the production of The Kennedys, History has decided not to air the 8-part miniseries on the network," the network said in a statement released to The Hollywood Reporter. "While the film is produced and acted with the highest quality, after viewing the final product in its totality, we have concluded this dramatic interpretation is not a fit for the History brand." Producers Asylum Entertainment and Muse Entertainment will look for another U.S. outlet, having already cleared the project internationally - including in Canada beginning March 6. The ensemble cast included Greg Kinnear (as John F. Kennedy), Katie Holmes (Jackie Kennedy), Barry Pepper (Robert F. Kennedy) and Tom Wilkinson (Joe Kennedy).

MAN UP (A.K.A. UNTITLED CHRISTOPHER MOYNIHAN PROJECT) (ABC) - Christopher Moynihan's comedy - "a look at what it takes to survive as a modern man, as told through the eyes of three best friends and the women in their lives" - has been ordered to pilot by the Alphabet. ABC Studios and Tagline Television are behind the half-hour, which Moynihan wrote and will co-star in. Tagline's Ron West and Kelly Kulchak also serve as executive producers alongside Moynihan.

SMOTHERED (ABC, New!) - Andrew Reich and Ted Cohen ("Romantically Challenged") have snagged a pilot order from the Alphabet for their new semi-autobiographical comedy about "a young couple who find themselves smothered by their two very different sets of parents whose only thing in common is that their children are married to each other." Warner Bros. Television is the studio attached.

WONDER WOMAN (TBA) - David E. Kelley's proposed small screen take on the DC Comics hero has been tabled after not landing a deal at a broadcast network. Warner Bros. Television is behind the hour, which Kelley wrote on spec. FOX, CBS and ABC all passed while NBC and The CW reportedly weren't willing to make the financial commitment to such a project at this time.
