CMT'S BOB KUSBIT RETURNS TO PRODUCTION

December 15, 2010: CMT's Bob Kusbit is leaving his position as Head of Development at the end of this year to return to running his own production company, One Louder Productions.

MTV Networks veteran Kusbit, who created such hits as "Total Request Live" and "Made" for MTV, joined CMT in 2007 to oversee development and production. During his tenure, CMT had some of its highest-rated series ever in "Gone Country," "My Big Redneck Wedding" and "World's Strictest Parents." Kusbit also helped launch and is an Executive Producer on CMT's first-ever sitcom, the Melissa Peterman/Ed Asner vehicle "Working Class," which is currently shooting and will launch in January 2011.

"Bob brought a fun perspective and contagious energy to CMT," said Brian Philips, President of CMT. "We'll miss having him around every day, but we're thrilled he'll remain a part of the CMT family."

Kusbit will return full-time to his company, One Louder Productions, which has an overall deal with MTV Networks and produces the multiple Emmy-winning show, "Made." His deal will now expand to include CMT, which has already greenlit a series of "Made" episodes designed specifically for the network.

"It's hard leaving a job where you love the work and love the people even more, but this is a best of both worlds situation," said Kusbit. "I'm excited to return to producing full-time, and I'm looking forward to working with MTV and CMT to create and produce great television."

Kusbit's One Louder Productions is repped by WME and Daniel Black at Greenberg Traurig.
