By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from recent wire reports:

Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

BREAKING IN (FOX) - FOX is reportedly close to a series commitment for the project, about a group of twentysomething geniuses who are tasked with cracking computer security systems. The network asked for two additional scripts of the single-camera comedy over the summer and extended the options on the cast, which includes Bret Harrison, Christian Slater and Odette Yustman. Seth Gordon directed the half-hour from a script by Adam F. Goldberg. Happy Madison Productions and Sony Pictures Television are the co-producers.

EX MEN (TV Land, New!) - Mark Reisman ("Quintuplets") has snagged a cast-contingent pilot order from the cable channel for a new comedy about "three divorced guys who live in an apartment building where their landlord is their young and sexy female divorce attorney." Reisman penned the multi-camera half-hour and will executive produce.

EXIT 19 (Lifetime) - Tisha Campbell-Martin ("Rita Rocks") and Chris Payne Gilbert ("10 Items or Less") are the latest additions to Ally Walker-led drama pilot, about "single mother Gloria Shepherd (Walker) as she juggles her demanding personal and professional lives raising two children while working as a New York Police Department homicide detective." Gilbert will play Gloria's younger brother, "a recovering alcoholic, with whom she shares the house the two co-own," while Campbell-Martin is set as "Gloria's smart and vivacious partner." ABC Studios and CBS TV Studios are behind the Jeffrey Bell-penned hour, a revamp of CBS's 2008 pilot of the same name with Geena Davis, Rosie Perez and Matthew Lillard in the aforementioned roles.

GLEE (FOX) - Darren Criss ("Eastwick") is reportedly in talks to become a series regular on the FOX hit. The actor made his debut on the series last night as Kurt's (Chris Colfer) gay role model Blaine where he performed a cover of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream."

THE WILD WILD WEST (CBS) - Naren Shankar ("CSI: Crime Scene Investigation") and Ronald D. Moore ("Battlestar Galactica") are on track to spearhead a revival of the 1965-1969 series, which is in talks to land at CBS, home of the original incarnation. The pair would write and executive produce the pilot, which would once again track "two Secret Service Agents who investigate federal crimes in post Civil War America." CBS Television Studios and Sony Pictures Television, where their respective overall deals are based, are on board to co-produce.
