LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- A&E and Sci Fi are expanding their January slates, network sources have confirmed today.

The latter will serve up newcomer "RelicQuest" on Wednesday, January 21 at 10:00/9:00c following new episodes of "Ghost Hunters International" (now billed as season 1.75). The series, hosted by Bruce Burgess, "travels the globe in search of some of history's greatest relics and artifacts."

A&E will also be busy in January with the return of "Paranormal State" (Mondays at 10:00/9:00c starting January 19)* and "The First 48" (Thursdays at 9:00/8:00c starting January 1) as well as the previously announced new drama "The Beast" (Thursdays at 10:00/9:00c starting January 15).

The trio will join original episodes of "Intervention" (Mondays at 9:00/8:00c starting December 15) and "Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force" (Tuesdays at 10:00/9:00c).

And finally starting February 4, "Dog the Bounty Hunter" offers up new episodes at 10:00/9:00c followed by newcomer "The Exterminators."
