The second season of "Rob & Big" ranked #1 in its time period (Tue 10:30-11p) among P12-34 versus all cable competition. On MTV and MTV2 combined, season 2 reached over 49.6 million total viewers (P2+), with over 27.8 million from our P12-34 core. "Rob & Big" was just as strong online as it was on-air. The second season of "Rob & Big" was the most-viewed show at MTV.com during its run. Also during the show's 2nd season run, it was iTunes' best seller each week out of all MTV, MTV2, VH1 and CMT shows. Season 2 also ranked as high as #18 out of all shows currently for sale on their Top TV Seasons chart.

The story of "Rob & Big" is simple: After years of being hassled by cops for street skateboarding, Rob hired Big Black as his own personal bodyguard with one goal in mind -- to ride whenever and wherever he wanted. From that point on, this unusual twosome became instant buddies who were always by each other's side.

Born in Kettering, Ohio, Rob is a relentless and gifted figure in pro street skateboarding. At 12, Rob bought his first skateboard. Twenty-four days later he had won his first skateboarding competition. By 16, he had already turned pro. Soon he had become the first street skateboarder for the DC Shoes Team. His charisma and tenacity are as well-known as his abilities on a board. He recently completed his own film, "Street Dreams" and will be appearing in an upcoming DeNiro/Pacino film, Righteous Kill, due for release in 2008. From designing innovative shoes for DC to building skateboarding plazas around the world through his foundation, Rob continues to shape the modern skateboarding world and give back to the sport that made him a star.

Born in Chicago, IL, Christopher "Big Black" Boykin has been big since he was a baby. These days, at 6'6" and 416 pounds, he is beloved in the skate world ever since he and Rob teamed up in the well-known skate video, The DC Video. Big Black is as much an entrepreneur as he is a menacing guardian angel for street skaters. He has his own signature hat collection with New Era, a new signature line of sunglasses with Spy Optic, his own line of rims with Diablo wheels and a new line of T-shirts repping his rap group The Chunky Boys (album title: Weight Ain't Nothing But A Number). And, as if that weren't enough, his new line of Big Black shoes (labeled with his infamous double B's logo) will be soon available through Zumiez and Finish Line. Obviously, he stays true to his motto, "Do work!"

"Rob & Big" is created and executive produced by Jeff Tremaine, Ruben Fleischer, Rob Dyrdek and Christopher "Big Black" Boykin. Lauren Dolgen and Heather Olander are executives in charge for MTV
