CONTESTANTS WANTED FOR "CROWNED: THE MOTHER OF ALL PAGEANTS," THE CW'S UPCOMING MOTHER-DAUGHER REALITY SERIES

Casting Calls Scheduled For Dallas, Orlando, Phoenix/Tempe and Raleigh

February 27, 2007 (Burbank, California) ?? The CW begins a nationwide search for mother-daughter teams (ages 18 and over) to compete in its upcoming reality series "Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants," an eight-episode competition that features the pairs working together to win a beauty pageant. The search includes open casting calls in four major cities - Orlando (March 3), Raleigh (March 3), Dallas (March 10) and Phoenix/Tempe (March 10). For additional information, including audition requirements, applications and how to submit audition videos, please visit the "The CW Lounge" at http://www.cwtv.com/.

Please note: Previous pageant experience is not required.

"Crowned" will feature mothers and daughters from all walks of life putting their relationships to the test as they face challenges that focus on preparing them for the pageant show finale, including expressing a 'style' for the mother-daughter team via clothing and swimwear, creative ways of expressing a point of view about issues in the world, and participating in the big pageant show dance number. Each week, three judges will oversee the competition.

In the end, one mother-daughter team will be "crowned" the winner and will receive a valuable prize package, including a $100,000 cash award, and, of course, a fabulous pair of tiaras.

"Crowned" is a production of Fox Television Studios, with creator/executive produced Laurie Girion ("Cheerleader Nation," "Last Comic Standing 2").
