NEW YORK, NY � July 18, 2006 � USA Network was easily the top network in basic cable prime this week among all key demos: households (2.9 rating), P18-34 (0.7 million), P18-49 (1.6 million), P25-54 (1.7 million) and total viewers (3.6 million). This was the largest weekly audience ever among total viewers for the network.

USA took the ratings crown with strong performances from original series PSYCH, MONK, THE 4440, THE DEAD ZONE, WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW, and the basic cable debut of the movie PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL.

� USA was the #1 network in all of television on Saturday prime, beating all broadcast and cable networks in 8p-11p prime in every key demo. The Saturday airing of the movie PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL was the highest rated and most watched telecast of the week with a 5.5 household rating and an average of 3.6 million P18-49, 3.9 million P25-54, and 7.4 million total viewers. It was the biggest theatrical movie in USA's history* and was the largest theatrical movie in basic cable prime in five years in the P25-54 demo.

� USA's PSYCH was the most watched basic cable program on Friday night among P18-49 and P25-54, while MONK was the most watched program among households and total viewers. With strong performances from MONK and PSYCH, USA was by far the #1 network in basic cable prime on Friday among households (3.2 rating), P18-49 (1.4 million), P25-54 (1.8 million), and total viewers (3.9 million).

� WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW telecasts on Monday averaged 2.3 million P18-49 and 2.1 million P25-54, making USA the #1 cable entertainment network for the night among P18-34 and P18-49. At 10p USA attracted more M18-49 than each of the broadcast networks.

� USA's original series THE 4400 was the #1 program in basic cable prime on Sunday with 2.1 million P25-54

� THE DEAD ZONE earned its largest audience to date this season in the key P25-54 demo.

USA Network greatly surpassed its ratings for the same week last year (7/11-7/17/05) by double-digits in all key demos, up 52% in households, up 59% in P18-34, up 51% in P18-49 , up 56% in P25-54, and up 61% among total viewers (Live+SD vs. pre-DVR data).
