OOO-LA-LA! "THE BACHELOR" GOES TO PARIS!

The Most Romantic City in the World Plays Host to the Eighth Edition of The ABC Television Network's Popular Romance Reality Series

The Search Is on for the Next Bachelor

From the magnificent view from of the Eiffel Tower to strolling down the breathtaking Champs Elysies to the historic Arc de Triomphe, Paris -- the City of Light -- will be the exciting new location for the eighth edition of "The Bachelor" - the first time the series has been set outside of the United States.

"The Bachelor" in Paris will romance 25 beautiful Bachelorettes. "The Bachelor's" new playground offers numerous seductive possibilities with vast scenic panoramas, intimate bistros and mysteries lurking around every corner and side street.

And the search for America's newest Bachelor is starting now! This season the producers are looking for the man of every woman's dreams: a handsome, ambitious, charming, successful guy who is looking to settle down. It's a tall order to fill, so if you or someone you know is an accomplished CEO, doctor, lawyer, entrepreneur or business man and wants to find love, contact "The Bachelor" immediately.

For more information on how to nominate a bachelor or to download an application, please log on to www.thebachelor.tv or call "The Bachelor" hotline at (866) 739-3150. The deadline for tape submissions is August 17.

"The Bachelor" will get to know 25 women in a series of fun and exciting dates that will elicit real and raw emotions. Some lucky women will meet his family, and he'll visit their hometowns for a slice of their lives in an effort to determine the woman with whom he is most compatible.

"The Bachelor" will continue to eliminate women each week until ultimately deciding on the one woman who has captured his heart. At the end of the journey, the "Bachelor" may quite possibly have found true love. But the big question is: After all of this, will he pop the question, and will she say yes?

Hosted by Chris Harrison, "The Bachelor" is produced by Next Entertainment in association with Telepictures Productions. Mike Fleiss is the show's executive producer, while Lisa Levenson serves as co-executive producer.
