MORE LOVE, LESS LIES IN NEW UPN SERIES
UPN announced today that it is changing the title of the new fall drama series "Sex, Lies & Secrets" to SEX, LOVE & SECRETS. The change was made so that the show title will be more reflective of the direction, tone and pacing of the series as it delves into the intricate relationships of a close group of friends in Silver Lake, a small, hip neighborhood on the outskirts of Hollywood.
"I am delighted with the new title," said executive producer Jonathan Axelrod. "I've always felt we had more love than lies in the show. The Beatles said it best, 'All you need is love, love. Love is all you need.' But just in case..., we still have plenty of lies."
SEX, LOVE & SECRETS stars Denise Richards, Eric Balfour, Lauren German, Omar Benson Miller, Tamara Taylor, James Stevenson and Lucas Bryant. This fresh, edgy, new drama explores the intimate and often complex relationships of a tight-knit group of friends discovering who they are and what they want in life. These twenty-somethings have become a family sharing everything, but as with any family, the need to protect each other can often compel them to keep secrets that sometimes do more harm than good.
The show is produced by the Axelrod/Edwards Company, in association with Paramount Network Television. Jonathan Axelrod, Kelly Edwards and Daniel Cerone ("Clubhouse") are executive producers. Michael Gans & Richard Register ("Celebrity Deathmatch") are creators, co-executive producers and writers.
