FASHION DESIGNER CYNTHIA ROWLEY JOINS NBC'S KATHY HILTON
RENOWNED DESIGNER CYNTHIA ROWLEY JOINS KATHY HILTON TO INTRODUCE CONTESTANTS TO HIGH FASHION ON NBC'S "I WANT TO BE A HILTON" TUESDAY, JULY 12 , 9-10 P.M. ET
Contestants Get Makeovers and Walk the Runway in a New York City Fashion Show
NEW YORK - July 11, 2005 - NBC's Kathy Hilton, fashion designer Cynthia Rowley and model Frederique Van Der Whal, greet the "I Want to be a Hilton" contestants at a luncheon and give them pointers in fashion and style. Hilton reorganizes teams "Park" and "Madison" for their next task: to create a fashion line and model their clothes in a fashion show, on NBC's "I Want to be a Hilton" (Tuesday, July 12 , 9-10 p.m. ET).
As newly formed teams "Park" and "Madison" embark on their task, tensions rise between Vanessa and her new teammates, as she assumes a leadership role giving orders to her team. The contestants visit a vintage store and are given a certain amount of money per team to buy clothes, which they can modify for a fashion show they will be in the next day. Creativity and originality are the keys to success, and the team that puts on the best runway show wins a photo shoot with world-renowned photographer Antoine Verglas. The losing team faces the elimination room, where Hilton will declare two contestants "off the list."
