COLLEGE HILL Closes the Book on Another Semester as BET's Top Primetime Series

Season Finale of TV's Most Addictive Black Reality Show Premieres on May 12 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT

WASHINGTON, May 5 -- The rambunctious co-eds of COLLEGE HILL, which airs Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on BET, are in the home-stretch toward completing their semester. Brittani, Israel, Stacey, Nafiys, Coti, Tanisha and Jon are closing the book on their days at the ranch where they have resided for an entire term with their lives being televised to millions of BET viewers. From classroom to chaos, BET has followed these eight college co-eds in the "Wild Wild West" of the Oklahoma plains at Langston University, and presented their experiences uncensored and "real." The season finale of TV's most addictive Black reality show premieres on Thursday, May 12 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

COLLEGE HILL, produced for BET by Edmonds Entertainment, premiered on January 27 and zoomed to the head of the class this season as BET's #1 series, also earning top marks as the highest-rated Thursday primetime cable series among Black households for the 1st Quarter of 2005. COLLEGE HILL averages nearly 1 million viewers each week.

"We are thrilled that BET viewers have once again made COLLEGE HILL a ratings success," says Tracey Edmonds, President and CEO of Edmonds Entertainment and executive producer for COLLEGE HILL. "This was an incredibly exciting season to produce largely because of our compelling cast and their eclectic personalities. Our group certainly had their share of conflict, but it was so rewarding to see how they evolved over the course of the series."

All semester long, BET viewers have remained locked in for each subsequent chapter unfolding in the COLLEGE HILL drama -- after the heated altercation between Jon and Peaches, she's been voted off the ranch by the castmates; Brittani and Israel's little bathroom secret was exposed, which led to the demise of his relationship with girlfriend April; and Tanisha went head-to- head with the entire group about sexuality and religion. Viewers just catching onto the COLLEGE HILL phenomenon can be brought up to speed on all that's happened so far, while regular watchers have a chance to check out any episodes they've missed or revisit their favorites from the entire sophomore season when BET airs them back-to-back in a special marathon presentation. The COLLEGE HILL marathon airs on Saturday, May 7 from 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. ET/PT and repeats Wednesday, May 11 from 11:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. ET/PT.

In episode 13, "The Final Chapter," COLLEGE HILL's sophomore season wraps when the students go on a camping trip and candidly share their thoughts on how they truly feel about each other. Emotions run high as the cast prepares to depart from the ranch and another season of COLLEGE HILL comes to a dramatic conclusion. Find out what happens as the co-eds transition from the reality they've known for 13 weeks back to their 'regular' lives during the unpredictable season finale of COLLEGE HILL premiering Thursday, May 12 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
