THE 18th SEASON OF "AMERICA'S MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK" PREMIERES SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, ON FOX
Now one of the top 10 longest-running shows in primetime, AMERICA'S MOST WANTED premieres its 18th season this Saturday, Sept. 11 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. As the nation marks the third anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, host John Walsh will give updates on the war on terror.
AMERICA'S MOST WANTED looks at the new dangers facing America today. Several of our cities have recently been put to the test: How would their rescue workers handle a terrorist attack? We all know that cops and firefighters are trained to handle all kinds of emergencies, but with the possibility of terrorism, these men and women face new dangers. AMW goes inside a boot camp for anti-terrorist training where rescuers learn a whole new way of thinking.
Also on the episode, AMW features the infamous Hells Angels Motorcycle Gang. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (ATF) sent some of its agents deep undercover to finally arrest 50 Hells Angels members, and charged them with various crimes ranging from federal firearms violations to murder. However, two gang members are still on the loose and AMW asks viewers to assist in bringing these fugitives to justice.
Finally, police are looking for Alfonso and Johbir Fowle, brothers who are convicted criminals. The Fowle brothers, from Brooklyn, NY, are accused of gunning down an 8-year-old boy while he walked home from daycare with his father and younger brother. The young victim, Desean Hill, was just a few feet from his front door when a turf war erupted across the street.
AMERICA'S MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK has led to the capture of more than 800 fugitives and reunited 38 missing children with their families. Lance Heflin is executive producer of AMERICA'S MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK for STF Productions, Inc.
