CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- The WB isn't pulling the plug on "Run of the House" just yet as the network announced plans today to return the freshman comedy to its schedule on April 23.
The series, which hasn't been on the schedule since January 15, will take over the Frog's Friday, 9:30/8:30c slot previously occupied by "The Help."
Here's how the WB describes "Undercover Brother," the show's first episode back from hiatus:
PROMIES, PROMISES, PROMISES - Kurt (Joseph Lawrence) is frustrated when Chris (Kyle Howard), Sally (Sasha Barrese) and Brooke (Margo Harshman) fawn over their neighbor Bobby Norris (guest star Adrien Wenner), who claims to be a reporter for Rolling Stone. However, when Bobby can't deliver promised concert tickets to Brooke, Kurt steps in to save the day. Mo Gaffney also stars. Gerry Cohen directed the episode written by Chrissy Pietrosh and Jessica Goldstein (#177212).
"Run of the House" averaged 1.97 million viewers in its previous Thursday, 9:30/8:30c slot making it the least-watched program on the six major broadcast networks this season.
