YouTuber and Owner of MrBeast Burgers, Jimmy Donaldson, Joins as a Guest Judge
The entrepreneurs must have excellent time management, advertising, and quality control skills to win this week's challenge. Gordon pits two teams against each other to create an enticing menu for a delivery-only restaurant that will serve hungry office workers in Downtown Los Angeles. The teams must cook in a pared down "ghost kitchen" to create food that has consistent quality and can be easily delivered. As the customers will be ordering on a food delivery app, the teams have to take visually appealing photos of the food and market it to the local workers. The team that receives the best feedback from experts in the multi-billion-dollar food delivery business, including YouTuber MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson), CEO of Uber Eats Dara Khosrowshahi and COO of Panera Bread Debbie Roberts wins the challenge. One person from the team with the least favorable feedback from the guest panel will be eliminated in the "Got This in The Bag" episode of Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars airing Sunday, July 2 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (from FOX's web site, May 2023) Culinary titan Gordon Ramsay sets aside his razor-sharp knives for the cutthroat business world in the all-new competition series Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars, putting food and drink industry entrepreneurs through a multitude of challenges designed to showcase their business skills, test their drive and convince Ramsay they have what it takes to earn his personal investment of $250,000. Ramsay gets down to business with a select group of food and drink industry professionals, as he searches for the next greatest culinary entrepreneur. The aspiring moguls will be challenged in all aspects of running a food enterprise, including creating, marketing and selling to real customers. In addition to Ramsay, their progress will be evaluated by guest judges and curated focus groups. As Ramsay pushes contestants to their limits, they’ll have to prove they possess the raw ingredients required to succeed – drive, dedication, creativity, passion and talent. |
