An all new episode of AMC's "Hell on Wheels" airs Saturday, July 9th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. In the episode entitled, "Any Sum within Reason," Chang discovers Mei's secret and forces her to flee Truckee. Cullen's search for her brings new realizations while exorcising old demons.
The last seven episodes of "Hell on Wheels" is the end of the line for Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) and his work on America's first transcontinental railroad. The final push to finish brings with it a reckoning for Bohannon and the men standing in his path: the bloodthirsty Swede (Christopher Heyerdahl); the mercenary Chang (Byron Mann); and the rapacious Thomas Durant (Colm Meaney). Bohannon contends with corruption, greed and murder as he leads the trek to complete the final stages of the building of the railroad from the Central Pacific through the Sierras and across the Utah desert to Promontory Point. While the railroad's completion is certain, who and what will survive when the golden spike is finally planted remains in question - with no one more at risk than Cullen Bohannon.
An all new episode of AMC's limited series, "The American West," airs Saturday, July 9th at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. On the fifth episode, "Outlaw Rising" - executive produced by Robert Redford and Stephen David, and directed by John Ealer - Billy the Kid uses his talents with a gun to get what he wants. Wyatt Earp fights for justice. Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse make a big decision.
Spanning the years 1865 to 1890, "The American West," will show how - in the aftermath of the Civil War - the United States transforms into the "land of opportunity." Viewers will be transported into the violent world of cowboys, Indians, outlaws and law men. The 8-episode limited event series chronicles the personal, little-known stories of Western legends such as Jesse James, Billy the Kid, Wyatt Earp, Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull. The series features exclusive interviews with notable names from classic Western films, including Redford, James Caan, Burt Reynolds, Tom Selleck, Kiefer Sutherland, Mark Harmon, Ed Harris and more.
An all new episode of AMC's "Preacher" airs Sunday, July 10th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. On the seventh episode, "He Gone" - written by Mary Laws and directed by Michael Morris - Jesse's actions alienate and endanger those closest to him, as we glimpse into his past and finally learn the root of all of his guilt. Critics continue to rave about the series, including Terry Terrones of Colorado Springs Gazette, who said, "A hodgepodge of different genres, this series is flat-out fun."
Based on the popular cult comic book franchise of the same name, Preacher is a supernatural, twisted and darkly comedic drama that follows a Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power: the ability to make people do his bidding with just a word. Once this power attracts the attention of two mysterious angels (Fiore and DeBlanc), Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip, and an Irish vampire named Cassidy are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.
The Sony Pictures Television and AMC Studios co-production was developed for television by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg ("This Is the End," "Superbad," "Neighbors") and showrunner Sam Catlin ("Breaking Bad").
An all new episode of AMC's new original non-fiction series, "Ride with Norman Reedus" airs Sunday, July 10th at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. The series follows "The Walking Dead" fan-favorite star and motorcycle enthusiast as he hits the open road to explore local biker culture and celebrate the best and brightest collectors, mechanics and craftsmen around the country.
On the fifth episode, "Louisiana: Crescent City," Norman rides from Lafayette to NOLA with musician, Brent Hinds. On the way, they fish for crawdads, meet an alligator whisperer and get tattoos.
Each one-hour installment of "Ride with Norman Reedus" will feature Reedus with a riding companion - notable guests include Peter Fonda, Robert Rodriguez and Balthazar Getty - as they journey to new destinations throughout the United States, including North Carolina, Florida, California, Nevada, Texas and Louisiana. Reedus and friends stop by various locales such as custom bike shops, tattoo parlors, collector's warehouses, or a roadside smokehouse. The series is produced by Left/Right Productions.
